Associated Artists of Butler County group presents a Photography Show through Saturday at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St. Classes and Art Parties are available. Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., presents Dixie Lipnichan, a Japanese language and world cultures teacher from Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School, with a children's program on “Kamishibai,” or storytelling, from 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 6. Filmmakers Galleries, 477 Melwood Ave., are presenting a summer exhibit featuring the work of five advanced photography students from Pittsburgh Filmmakers School in “Pigment and Silver” on display through Sept. 13. Admission is free. Hours are noon to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and noon to 6 p.m. Fridays.
