SAXONBURG — All used books in the Friends Book Shop at the Saxonburg Library, 240 W. Main St., are being sold by the plastic grocery bag now through Saturday.
The used book sale runs during normal library hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Proceeds support programs and new books for the Saxonburg Library.
There will be a VFW picnic from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at VFW Post 249, 429 W. Jefferson St.
In July, area residents can register for all babysitting classes offered by the American Red Cross at a 20 percent discount.This discount includes the Babysitter's Basics online course and the Babysitter's Training classroom course.
