Nancy J. Messer
Nancy J. Messer, 85, of Parker passed away at her home Monday evening surrounded by her loving family.
Born on Feb. 23, 1928, in Harts Creek, W.Va., she was daughter of the late Hezz and Alice Williams Barett.
She was a Protestant.
She attended the Church of God of Prophecy for many years. At the time of her passing, she was a member of the Country Gospel Church of Callensburg.
Surviving are five daughters, Pearly (William) Adams of Volant, Juanita (Richard) Woods and Debbie (Bobby) Smith of Parker, Barbara Ralston of Phoenix, Ariz., and Linda Nelson of Mesa, Ariz.; two sons, Hezz (Marcette) Messer of Greenville and Clarence (Janet) Messer of Grove City; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Bertha Curtis, Sharon Fratini and Pam Neuman; three brothers, Paul, Corbin and Jerry Bryant; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Messer in 1994; a son, Tennis Messer in 1992, and an infant son, Louis David Messer.
MESSER — Friends of Nancy J. Messer, who passed away Monday May 20, 2013, may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 S. Wayne Ave., Parker. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Adams, her grandson, and the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, her pastor, officiating.
