Gumto 50th anniversary
Harvey and Carol Gumto of Renfrew celebrated 50 years of marriage with family and friends at the Butler Country Club.
Gumto married the former Carol Parker on July 19, 1963, at Laketon Heights United Methodist Church in Pittsburgh.
They have three children, Lynn Martig of Gibsonia, Erich Gumto of Butler and Scott Gumto of Renfrew. They also have seven grandchildren.
Gumto is the retired owner of Erich Gumto Greenhouses.
He is a member of the Masons of Infinity Lodge 546, Scottish Rite Valley of Pittsburgh 33, Syria Shrine, Butler Caravan 14 and Royal Order of the Jesters Court 2.
Mrs. Gumto is the secretary of Erich Gumto Greenhouses.
She is a member of Airys Temple 48 Daughters of the Nile, Butler Chapter 45 Order of the Eastern Star, Penn Township Woman’s Club, Nixon Socialites and Corinthian Court 35 Order of the Amaranth.
The Gumtos are members of the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown.
