Wen Ying Marple, 67, of Rochester, New Sewickley Township, died Sunday evening at Good Samaritan Hospice in Marshall Township.

She was born on Nov. 8, 1945, in Tianan, Taiwan, the daughter of Ssu Hen and Zin Yi Ling Ho.

Wen worked as an assembler at Mine Safety Appliances in Cranberry Township for more than 30 years.

Surviving are her son, Douglas Marple and his wife, Marilynn, of New Brighton; her daughter, Jennifer Rysak and her husband, Shawn, of Lower Burrell; her grandson, Brady Rysak; two brothers, and three sisters.
