Dennis W. Redmond
Dennis W. Redmond, 45, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., passed away Thursday from a lengthy illness.
He was born July 22, 1967, in Grove City to Virgil Marion Redmond and Mary Thompson Redmond.
He followed his dreams through his short time on Earth. He traveled and saw many places and met exciting people. He loved his family and helped them in so many ways. He will be missed and was loved by all who knew him.
Dennis is survived by his partner, Howard Gnatt of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; his mother and stepfather, Mary Redmond Wilson and William Wilson of Harrisville; his sisters, Bonny Baker of Mercer; Judy of Springmills, Pa.; Vicky and her husband, Jim Black, of Harrisville; Donna and her husband, Gene Charles, of Akron, Ohio; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and his bull dog, best pal and buddy Zach. Dennis is someone's best friend who you laughed and cried with; shared secrets with; grew up fighting with and arguing but at the end of the day they were best friends.
Dennis joins in heaven his father, Virgil Redmond; brother, Ronald; fraternal grandparents, Horace and Margaret Stull Redmond; maternal grandparents, Herman and Amy McConnell Thompson; great-niece, Natalie Lynn Jones and beloved aunts uncles.
REDMOND — The family of Dennis W. Redmond, who passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013, will receive friends at the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock, from 10 a.m. until time of the service at noon Wednesday at the funeral home.Interment will follow at Slippery Rock Cemetery.
