Bruce M. Comstock Jr.
Bruce M. Comstock Jr., 75, of Natrona Heights, formerly of Harrison Township, passed away at 10 p.m. Saturday at his home following a lengthy illness.
He was born April 9, 1938, in Mars to Bruce M. and Bertha Yoders Comstock Sr.
He graduated from Slippery Rock University.
He was a teacher for the Highlands School District, retiring in 1995, after 30 years of teaching.
He attended the Cabot United Methodist Church in Buffalo Township.
He enjoyed the beach, fishing and singing in church. He also loved watching the Steelers.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Edith Giesler Comstock of Harrison Township; his daughter, Megan (Thomas) Cramer of Greentree, Pa.; his son, Matthew Bruce (Stacy) Comstock of Arlington, Va.; and four grandchildren, Michael and Ryan Cramer and Ava and Maya Comstock.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
COMSTOCK — Friends of Bruce M. Comstock Jr., who passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the KRYNICKI FUNERAL HOME, 1007 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Matthew Judd officiating.
