McKean St., presents Dixie Lipnichan, a Japanese language and world cultures teacher from Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School, with a program on “Kamishibai,” or storytelling, from 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 6. This program will include the traditional Japanese Kamishibai story “The Mouse's Wedding.” The day also will include hands-on activities such as making chopsticks and candy sushi and learning how to use chopsticks.
