In memory of our sweet mother, Sally Ann Vlassich who passed away three years ago today, July 15, 2010.

Often we find ourselves thinking of you

Tears fall from our face because we’re so blue

Sometimes we feel like we are alone

But we know that you got your wings and off you have flown

You went to a place where there is always love

With your father and nephew and everyone else up above

And every time your children hurt and we feel very low

You peek down on us to help us grow

Your children are stronger now and able to see

God didn’t take you away from my brothers and me

He made you the perfect angel with wings to fly

So you can look after us from up in the sky

You’re better than perfect for the job

So we wipe our tears and try not to sob

We sit and think about the days

That you’ve held out our arms and showed us you loved us in so many ways

Never will we forget you and your perfect smile

We take time to think of our mother for a while

And no more tears will we cry your are always over everything from up in the sky

With every act of kindness, every smile and word of cheer

You built a lasting moment in the hearts that you left here.
