Wallace Schuring

Wallace George “Wally” Schuring, 87, of Cranberry Township passed away Saturday while under the care of Cranberry Place.

Born May 5, 1926, in Sewickley, he was the son of the late George B. and Grace (Siebke) Schuring.

Wally was a former member of the Masonic Lodge and the Sewickley American Legion. In his free time, he enjoyed camping and fishing.

He is survived by his children, Wallace G. Schuring II and his wife, Rose, of Zelienople and Sondra L. Furlong and her husband, Ray, of Georgia; his brother, Edgar Schuring and his wife, Pat, of Sewickley; his sister-in-law, Mary Schuring of Sewickley; his five grandchildren, Stephanie Nugent, Lori Furlong, Brian Furlong, Amanda Lynch and Ashley Grossman; his eight great-grandchildren, Raine Nugent, Alexandria Nugent, Angel Ureno, Michaela Nugent, Isabella Nugent, Ethan Furlong, Carter Lynch and Ella Furlong; his nieces, Lynn Cenkner and family, Sharon Lark and family, and Tracey Siebert and family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine E. (Hohnadel) Schuring, who passed away on Aug. 18, 2002, and his brother, Dwight Schuring.

SCHURING — The family of Wallace George “Wally” Schuring, who passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A funeral ceremony will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Robert A. Keplinger, officiating. He will be laid to rest at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.If desired, memorial contributions may be made in his honor in support of the English Lutheran Church, 200 E.
