Margaret Bennetti, 85, of Butler died Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 12, 1927, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late George and Ann (Sheptak) Burnatoski.

Margaret was a homemaker and was a member of the St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora. She was an avid WWE fan, and had enjoyed playing lottery numbers and trips to Atlantic City.

Her family would to extend a special thank you to her caregivers, Betty Boring and Stacy Philmon, and would also like to thank the Emergency Room staff and also the 5th Floor ICU staff of Butler Memorial Hospital for the excellent care.

Surviving are her sons, Robert T. Bennetti Jr. and Brian (Donna) Bennetti, all of Butler; two grandchildren, Nolan Bennetti of Butler and Rachel Bennetti of Texas; one brother, Tom Burnatoski of Butler; and one sister, Diane Montgomery of Saxonburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Bennetti Sr., who died Dec. 6, 1998; her brother, Robert, and her sister, Shirley.

BENNETTI — Friends of Margaret Bennetti, who died Saturday, June 8, 2013, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Leo Schlosser will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park.Memorial donations may be made to the Butler Memorial Hospital, One Hospital Way, Butler, PA 16001.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
