Lois E. Leseman
Lois E. Leseman, 89, of Butler passed away at 12:17 a.m. Friday at Concordia at Fox Chapel.
She was born Dec. 21, 1923, in Rural Ridge to the late Howard Vernon Dawson and Jessie (Geiser) Dawson.
Mrs. Leseman attended Hampton High School. She was a business owner with her husband of the ALY Construction Co. in Valencia, which was founded on May 1, 1957. Mrs. Leseman worked at ALY Fabrication Inc., ALY Construction Co., Complex Components, South Butler County Construction Co. and American Bridge as a welder on LSTs during World War II. Mr. Leseman also was employed by the Pinkerton Detective Agency.
Mrs. Leseman is survived by one daughter, Linda Lanning and her son-in-law, Joe Riddlebarger, of Gibsonia; and two brothers, Walter Dawson of Herminie and John Dawson of Port Charlotte, Fla.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Leseman, who she married on Aug. 3, 1942, and who passed away March 13, 1987.
LESEMAN — Friends of Lois E. Leseman, who died Friday, June 7, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St. Butler.
An informal service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.
