Duffy Road, will host “Fun in the Sun” from noon to 7 p.m. July 26 at the Masonic Shelter at Alameda Park.The afternoon includes food, games, kickball, nail painting, crafts and a free swim pass. ZELIENOPLE — The fair trade gift shop Artisan Marketplace at 134B S. Main St. is a mission of the Beaver Butler Presbyterian Women. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. July 18 to 20 during Horse Trading Days in Zelienople.The artisans who make the handmade gifts are funded by SERRV, a nonprofit fair trade organization.For more information, call 724-538-9860.
The Adam Rettig Sr. 50th family reunion will be at 2 p.m. July 21 at the Rotary Shelter in Butler Memorial Park, 100 Memorial Park Drive.Instead of white elephant gifts, a box will be available for contributions. Take a well-filled picnic basket and table service. Chicken, meat and beverages will be provided.The reunion will include a 50/50 raffle to defray costs. Take gifts for bingo prizes.
