Patrick Byrd’s run-scoring single tied the game in the top of the seventh inning and Boo Lokhaiser added two more runs with a triple in the next frame as Center Township outlasted Slippery Rock 7-4 in Butler County legion baseball play.

Lokhaiser’s day also included a pair of doubles, a total of four RBI and a run scored.

Adam Voelker contributed to the victory with two singles and two runs and Ryan Vero had two singles and one RBI.

With the win, Center Township improved to 12-6.

Jesse Hodge went 4-for-4 with three singles, a double, two runs scored and one batted in for Slippery Rock (9-6). Hunter Bradenburg added a single, double and two RBI in defeat.

Jake Stoner singled and doubled in East Butler’s 11-6 win over West Sunbury.

Bobby Coyle and Ryan McCrea both doubled in the win and Luke Slater added a single.

For West Sunbury, J.J. Hutchison singled and homered and Steven Hagg had a base hit.
