James Houston Holland

James Houston Holland, 68, of Karns City passed away at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday at Life Care Suburban in Bellevue.

He was born on Feb. 8, 1945, in New York, N.Y., to Jacqueline Leona (Percibal) Holland and the late Wilbert Henry Holland.

Mr. Holland worked as an office manger for Elders Auto Repair in Valencia. He was a lifetime member of the NRA. Mr. Holland enjoyed hunting, fishing and restoring his Nova.

Mr. Holland is survived by his wife, Dolores M. Holland, who he married on March 3, 1965; two daughters, Dianne Beachem and her husband, Darryl, of Boyers and Debby Ennis and her husband, Paul, of Bethel Park; four grandchildren, Michael Beachem, Nicholas Ennis, Kristy Ennis and Salynn Herold; two great-grandchildren, Andrew Herold and Corlin Herold; his mother, Jacqueline Leona (Percibal) Holland of Gibsonia; two brothers, William Holland and his wife, Kathy, of Connoquenessing, and Barry Holland and his wife, Robin, of Gibsonia, and a number of nieces and nephews.

HOLLAND — Visitation for James Houston Holland, who passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013, will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler. Memorial services will be immediately following at 5 p.m. with the Rev. H. William Glassman of the Living Word Evangelical Free Church officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Rifle Association, 11250 Waples Mill Road, Fairfax, VA. 22030.Online condolences can be given at www.thompson-miller.com.
