Margaret “Maggie” Koblak, 71, of Butler passed away Thursday at the Alle-Kiski Medical Center in Natrona Heights.

She was born Jan. 20, 1942, in Butler, the daughter of the late Henry B. and Mildred (Jones) Powell.

Maggie loved to paint and do crafts. She loved music by Elvis and 1980s hair bands.

Surviving are her children, Duane (Michelle) Knox of Butler, Roger Cunningham of Pittsburgh, Melissa (Ed) Vlassich of Butler, Victoria Giesbrecht of Butler and Jason Koblak and his fiancee, Jessica Glackin, of Butler; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and a brother, David Powell of New Mexico.

She also was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

KOBLAK — Friends of Margaret “Maggie” Koblak, who passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013, will be received at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 2 p.m. until the time of the service at 3 p.m. Sunday.
