Monday Movies in the Park will run Mondays from July 8 to Aug. 5 at Alameda Park, off New Castle Road. The free movies will start at 8:30 p.m., or when it's dark enough, in the Masonic Shelter just outside the pool. Free popcorn also will be available. The movie “The Price of Sand,” presented by Marcellus Outreach Butler, will be shown at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Butler Public Library, 218 N. McKean St.

Tuesdays@2 will show “The Sessions” at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Kean Theatre at St. Barnabas, Washington Place, 5847 Meridian Road, Gibsonia. At the same site, Wednesdays@1 will show “Lincoln” at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Admission is free, but donations are accepted to benefit the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund. Rangos Omnimax Theater at the Carnegie Science Center, One Allegheny Ave. next to Heinz Field, is showing “To the Arctic,” “Hubble” and “Flight of the Butterflies.” Tickets for most shows are $8 for adults and $6 for senior citizens and children. Omnimax is not recommended for children younger than 3. Call 412-237-3400 for show times.
