Bruna Kale

Bruna Kale, 96, of Cabot passed away Friday at her residence.

Born Aug. 2, 1916, in Cabot, she was the daughter of the late Raphiel and Lydia Ottolini.

She worked as a custodian at the Knoch School. She was also a homemaker. Bruna was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, the Cabot A.R. Club and the Christian Mothers. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Bruna took pride in making homemade raviolis and apple pies.

Surviving are her loving children, Robert (Joann) Kale of Cabot and Nancy (Alphonse) Peciulis of Sarver; five grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; four great-grandchildren; and her sister, Yolanda DeAugustino of Mercer.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Philip Kale; one son, Philip Kale Jr.; two brothers; and three sisters.

KALE — Friends of Bruna Kale, who died Friday, May 24, 2013, will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. There will be no visitation or services on Monday due to Memorial Day.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph R.C. Church with the Rev. Ward Stakem, OFM Cap. officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Herman.
