Brendan Malone and Dan Penberthy both homered in Mars’ 9-3 win over Freeport in Eagle County League baseball play on Saturday.

Malone added a triple and ended the day with three RBI in support of winning pitcher Brian Zima, who struck out seven and walked four in a complete game.

Kevin Rayburn took the loss, striking out seven and walking four in six innings pitched. He added two singles at the plate.
