Robert C. Kane

Robert C. Kane, 56, of Clinton Township died Saturday.

Born July 15, 1956, in Harrison Township, he lived most of his life in Sun Mine, Clinton Township.

A 1974 graduate of Knoch High School, Bob worked as a superintendant for TDF Services, Folina Construction in Oakmont, Pa. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and camping.

Survivors include his mother, Elinor P. (Earnst) Kane of Sun Mine; companion, Theresa A. (Giger) Kane; children, Shannon L. (Douglas) Blain and Robert C. Kane Jr., both of Parker; Rachelle A. Kane of New Kensington and Richard A. (Rebecca) Kane of Russellton; stepdaughter, Brittany Baptiste of Prospect; grandchildren, Tristan, Destiny, Natalie, Karma and Jenny; brothers, Richard J. Kane, Jim Kane, and Michael C. (Barb) Kane, all of Sun Mine; and his sister, Linda K. (Jim) Eshenbaugh, also of Sun Mine.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard T. Kane, and his brother, Thomas P. Kane.

KANE — Family of Robert C. Kane, who died Saturday, May 18, 2013, will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township. The funeral service will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. W. James Legge, D. Min., officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Sun Mine, Clinton Township.
