Marguerite K. 'Maggie' Heginbotham

Marguerite K. “Maggie” Heginbotham, 88, of East Brady died Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 25, 1924, in East Brady, she was the daughter of Ross A. and Mae C. (Foringer) Wiles.

Maggie was married for 21 years to the late Clyde W. Heginbotham. He died in June 1980.

Maggie was a cook at various establishments, including the Hillcrest Restaurant, Wendy’s, Clarview Rest Home and the St. Cloud Hotel. She also was a cookie machine operator for the Davis Cookie Co. in Rimersburg. Later, she worked for Hutchinson Dry Cleaners in Butler.

She attended the Trinity Church in Bradys Bend.

Maggie was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 488 in Bradys Bend and a member of the St. Patrick Young at Heart in Bradys Bend.

She is survived by one daughter, Judy A. Snyder and her husband, Sam, of Mauldin, S.C.; four sons, Donald W. Heginbotham and his wife, Bunny, of Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County, Danny R. Heginbotham of East Brady, David C. Heginbotham of Youngstown, Ohio, and Dale W. Heginbotham and his wife, Peggy, of East Brady; two brothers, Walter Wiles of East Brady and Vern Wiles of East Brady; three sisters, Ilene Wessinger of Kittanning, Virginia Delano of Somerset, Pa., and Genevieve Zellers of East Brady. She is also survived by her companion, Salvadore “Sam” Cassesse of Bradys Bend; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Maggie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Ray Heginbotham; and five sisters, Margaret Wiles, Rose Young, Jean Murray, Julia Simpson and Susie Schreckengost.

HEGINBOTHAM — Friends of Marguerite K. “Maggie” Heginbotham, who died Saturday, May 18, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home, 105 4th St., East Brady.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Pete Sapp officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County.

The Heginbotham family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Trinity Church, 887 State Route 68, East Brady, PA 16028.
