Angoline L. “Jennie” Steiner, 93, of East Brady and Bradys Bend died Sunday at the Chicora Medical Center.

She was born May 23, 1919, in Bradys Bend. She was the daughter of Panfilo and Anna (D’Angelo) Silverio.

On April 26, 1941, Jennie married Nicholas L. “Mickey” Steiner. He preceded her in death on Jan. 28, 1989.

Jennie was a member of the St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Bradys Bend where she was a member of the Young at Heart Club and the Alter Rosary Society. For many years Jennie proudly prepared delicious meals on a regular basis for the priests of St. Patrick.

She also cooked at the St. Cloud in East Brady and the St. Jude Golf Club.

Jennie loved playing bingo and dearly loved her family.

She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 488 in Bradys Bend and the Bradys Bend Sons of Italy Lodge 1484.

She is survived by one brother, Patsy Silverio and his wife, Audrey, of East Brady; one daughter-in-law, Vicki Steiner of Bradys Bend; two grandsons, Matt Steiner and his wife, Missy, of Ford City and Noll Steiner of Pittsburgh; one granddaughter Shelley Vasbinder and her husband, David, of Mars; three great-grandchildren, Owen, Hayden and Camryn Vasbinder of Mars, and one step great-grandchild, Allison Cullum of Ford City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Robert N. Steiner; one daughter-in-law, Pamela Steiner; two brothers, and five sisters.

STEINER — Friends of Angoline L. “Jennie” Steiner, who died Sunday, May 12, 2013, will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home, 105 4th St., East Brady. A funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Bradys Bend, with the Rev. Douglas Dorula officiating.
