Violet M. Bell
Violet M. Bell, 80, of Butler died Saturday morning at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born Dec. 24, 1932, in Mars, and was a daughter of the late Clarence Osche and Kathleen (Reiott) Osche.
Violet had worked at the Mushroom Mine and then was a bartender and cook at the T-Bar in Fenelton.
She was a former member of the St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville, and had loved to cook.
Surviving are her son, Thomas L. (Kathy) Bell of Foxburg; three grandchildren, Darla Ace, Stacey Bell and Thomas Bell Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Braden and Kylee; two sisters, Charlotte Ehrman of Fenelton and Jean Campbell of Worthington, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur H. Bell, who she married Aug. 29, 1956, and who died May 1, 1993; four brothers and two sisters.
BELL — The friends of Violet M. Bell, who died Saturday, May 11, 2013, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
