SAXONBURG — This week, all used books in the Friends Book Shop at the Saxonburg Library, 240 W. Main St., are $5 per plastic grocery bag.

The shop is open during normal library hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Concordia-Orchard will celebrateCENTER TWP — Concordia at the Orchard in Center Township will celebrate a decade of service to the community from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in conjunction with the kickoff of this year’s Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival.Concordia created a Bantam Jeep and will display it at the event. Also, Caterina Renda of Pittsburgh will provide musical entertainment and Concordia Visiting Nurses and Good Samaritan Hospice staff will provide blood pressure screenings. Photo tips part of library programThe Butler Public Library, 218 N. McKean St., will host local photographer Fred Vero at 7 p.m. June 20. A-C Valley 30th reunion plannedCLARION — The Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School Class of 1983 will have its 30th reunion June 29 at the Clarion Holiday Inn at the intersection of Interstate 80 and Route 68.Check-in and a social hour begin at 5 p.m., with a buffet dinner at 6 p.m. for registered, paid classmates.All other class members are encouraged to arrive by 7 p.m. for the group photograph.
