Jeffrey “Pete” Tritch, 47, of Butler died Friday in the emergency room of UPMC Passavant Hospital.

He was born June 12, 1965, in Butler and was a son of the late Delmont “Sonny” Tritch and Genevieve (Barrett) Tritch.

He worked at P-Jax Trucking in Gibsonia and had also worked at Hindman Transfer and Storage.

Jeff had been active in local baseball and softball teams through the years and had volunteered at the Butler County Humane Society.

Jeff is survived by a sister, Colleen (Edward) Miller of Evans City; three brothers, Timothy (Roberta) Tritch of Butler, Gregory (Karen) Tritch of Butler and Stephen (Tami) Tritch of Gibsonia; his uncle, Thomas Barrett; his aunt, Cleora Tritch, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved dog, Jordan.
