NOT FORGOTTEN

By Dillin Geibel

Everything is forever changed

Since that rainy night.

That night that hurt just like a knife

The night that took your life.

Your death is still a mystery,

The loss of talents strange.

The skill you had has disappeared,

Like you were lost in the rain.

Your talents irreplaceable,

Your quad is at rest.

No one owns your daring skill,

You were the very best.

Some days it's hard to see your face,

Others it's bright as the moon.

We all miss you very much,

And know you've gone too soon.

They say that death is not the end,

And we all know that well.

We slowly get used to the pain,

Still it hurts like hell.

We found you lying on the road,

Where it was very slick.

We thought that you would be all right,

But it was all a trick.

Your voice has not yet silenced,

Our crying will not cease.

We can't believe you had to leave,

And hope you find some peace.

Your laughter had faded,

Your motor has quieted.

But to us your memory will live forever on.

Forever missed and forever loved.
