NEW YORK — Major League Baseball has begun interviewing players linked to a Miami anti-aging clinic that allegedly sold performance-enhancing drugs and became the focus of the sport's investigation.

Clinic founder Anthony Bosch has agreed to talk with MLB, according to numerous reports, and union head Michael Weiner said the commissioner's office has assured the union that “no decisions regarding discipline have been made or will be made until those interviews are completed.”

Alex Rodriguez, Ryan Braun, Nelson Cruz, Melky Cabrera and Bartolo Colon are among more than a dozen players whose names have been tied to the now-closed clinic, Biogenesis of America.

WASHINGTON — The Washington Nationals placed pitcher Stephen Strasburg on the 15-day disabled list because of a strained muscle in his back.The Nationals made the move after Strasburg skipped a scheduled bullpen session. The session was supposed to determine whether he could make a start Saturday.

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama welcomed the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens to the White House, congratulating the team on its unlikely title run. At the South Lawn event, Obama praised the team for its second Super Bowl victory and charitable work in blue collar Baltimore.

SAN DIEGO — The San Diego Chargers signed first-round draft pick D.J. Fluker to a four-year contract. Fluker, a right tackle from Alabama, was the 11th pick overall.
