Betty Anderson will lecture on “What Makes Chinese Chinese.” Museum hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays. Saxonburg Area Artists Cooperative, 215 Main St., rear, in Saxonburg, presents “The Watercolors of Dougal Brown,” running June 15 to July 13. A reception will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 15. The artist will attend, and solo guitarist Dale Cinski will perform. A chocolate tasting and other refreshments are planned. Admission is free. Brown teaches at the North Hills Art Center in Pittsburgh and the Sweetwater Center for the Arts in Sewickley. He attended the Pittsburgh Art Institute and had a 40-year career as a package designer. He is a signature member and past president of the Pennsylvania En Plein Air Society and has served as a jurist for many exhibits throughout Western Pennsylvania.
