DOLORES

Maybe once in a lifeime - for a fortunate few-

There appears someone special - exactly like you.

Someone to share everything that’s inside,

That you always will want to have at your side.

Someone to think of - when you are apart,

Who causes the good things you feel in your heart.

Someone who loves you - and does understand,

And wants to be with you - holding your hand.

Don’t have to ask questions - you just seem to know.

When you’re together - how you feel - will show.

With them you’re relaxed, and natural, you see,

Can’t help but respond with a love that is free.

A love so important - it is with you to stay.

It influences the things that you do every day.

This happens in lives - but not by design.

And I’m certainly glad that you happened in mine.
