Patricia Aldridge

Patricia A. Aldridge, 80, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon in Zelienople with her beloved husband, Jay D. Aldridge, daughter, Diann Corll, and caregiver, Brittany Giggee, at her bedside.

Patricia was a resident of Port Charlotte, Fla. She also spent time in Zelienople, St. Simons Island, Ga., and was often seen in Volant.

Patricia graduated from Mount Mercy College, now Carlow University, with a bachelor's of science in nursing education. She will be remembered as a bright light wherever she went and by whomever she talked to and also as a person who always challenged people to think independently and learn new things, even until her last days. Pat was as happy reading a good book or working in her garden as she was among close friends enjoying good laughs, good food and good wine.

Pat was a member of the Memorial Park Presbyterian Church in Allison Park, Pa., joining in 1965. She also regularly attended the First Presbyterian Church of Punta Gorda, Fla., with the Rev. Stephen A. Mock, pastor, and the Calvin Presbyterian Church in Zelienople, with the Rev. Dr. N. Graham Standish, senior pastor.
