Margaret L. “Lou” Baird Altman, 76, of Evans City died Sunday at UPMC Passavant Cranberry.

She was born April 26, 1937, in Homewood, and was the daughter of John and Mildred Buchannan Baird.

She was a Baptist.

She had worked for Eckerd Drug Store.

She is survived by one son, David W. (Heidi) Altman of Zelienople; three sisters, Debra (Mike) LaMagdeleine of Alaska, Josie (Joe) Tipping of Atlantic and Mary Jo (Vito) Natali of Pittsburgh; three brothers, Miles (Karen) Baird of North Carolina, Hank (Laura) Baird of Virginia and Jack (Thelma) Baird of Allison Park; and two grandchildren, Brittany and Blake.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, David W. Altman Sr. on Jan. 9, 2010, one brother and one sister.
