Margaret A. 'Pat' Beige

Margaret A. “Pat” Beige, 96, of Middle Lancaster, Pa., passed away on Monday while under the care of the Ellwood City Hospital.

She was born Dec. 1, 1916, in Jeannette, Pa., and was the daughter of the late I. A. and Anna E. (Grundy) Miller.

Pat was the oldest living member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Middle Lancaster. For much of her life she worked as a seamstress, manufacturing dresses out of her own home. Above all, she was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her three sons, R. Michael Beige and his wife, Pat, of Big Beaver, Pa., Tim D. Beige and his wife, Cathy, of Middle Lancaster, Pa., and Mark K. Beige also of Middle Lancaster; her daughter, Peggy Sue Magill and her husband, James, of Zelienople; her sister, Twila Caulkins of Zelienople; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Beige, who passed away in 2007; her son, Edward I. Beige; and two sisters.

BEIGE — A graveside committal service in honor of Margaret A. “Pat” Beige, who died Monday, April 29, 2013, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, 557 Perry Highway, Harmony, PA 16037, with the Rev. Barbara Love, officiating. Friends of the family are welcome to attend.If desired, memorial contributions may be made in her honor in support of the Zion Lutheran Church, 557 Perry Highway, Harmony, PA 16037.Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 219 E.
