May 31, 1972 was a very sad day.

Our loved one passed away.

Dad you were the best.

My sisters and I were richly blessed.

It’s been forty-one long years.

Memories still bring the tears.

Our childhood time was a lot of fun.

I’m sure we kept you on the run.

Time passed and we became adults.

You were there for us even with our faults.

Too soon your earthly life came to an end.

Maybe someday our aching hearts will mend.
