Homer A. Shrader
Homer A. Shrader, 93, of Butler passed away Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born Feb. 25, 1920, in Jefferson Township, Butler County, and was the son of the late Lyman Moody and Martha Ellen (Welsh) Shrader.
Homer was a self employed farmer. He was a member of the Thorn Creek United Methodist Church. He enjoyed gardening and raccoon hunting.
Surviving is his brother, George W. Shrader of Butler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Blanche VanOrd, Audrey Adams and Martha Jane Brosius.
SHRADER — Friends of Homer A. Shrader, who passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013, will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Kurt Knobel officiating.
