Robert Ralph “Bob” Hays, 53, of Butler passed away at 2:25 p.m. Thursday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

He was born Jan. 3, 1960, in Butler to Kathryn (Lepro) Hays and the late Ralph Willard Hays.

Robert attended Butler High School. He worked at various garages in the area.

Robert is survived by his wife, Michelle (Wolfe) Hays, who he married on Nov. 10, 2012; his mother, Kathryn Hays; and one sister, Joyce Hays of Connoquenessing.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Hays.

HAYS — Friends of Robert Ralph “Bob” Hays, who passed away Thursday April 25, 2013, will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St. Butler, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. A funeral service will immediately follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. H. William Glassman of Living Word Evangelical Free Church, officiating. Burial will take place in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.
