Margaret Carothers

Margaret L. (Griffith) Carothers, 72, of Harmony passed away Monday while under the care of Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 20, 1941, in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late Francis W. and Mary (Hasley) Griffith.

For over 20 years, Margaret served as a roller welder for Bentley Industries.

She is survived by her two sons, John G. Carothers Jr. and his wife, Tracey, of Alexandria, Va., and James Carothers and his wife, Carol Pearson, of Cantor, Mich.; her sister, Jane Emery of Pittsburgh; her six grandchildren, Candice Carothers, Meredith Carothers, Natalie, Ashley and Nicholas Pearson and Jimmy Carothers; her two great-grandsons, Jessie and Jimmy; and her two great-granddaughters, Abagail Jean and Maddelyn Kae.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John G. Carothers Sr., to whom she was happily married for 52 years.

CAROTHERS — Services and interment for Margaret L.
