Lilian J. Heilman
Lilian J. Heilman, 95, of Mechanicsburg, Pa., formerly of East Brady, died April 11 at the Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, Pa.
She was born May 1, 1917, in East Brady, and was the daughter of Charlie A. and Gertrude (Jones) Heilman.
Lilian attended Huff Business School, then spent her career as the executive secretary for the secretary of the Department of Agriculture and the Pennsylvania State Treasurer.
She loved traveling, especially cruises and returning to the East Brady Area. She was an avid golfer and bridge player.
Lilian was a member of the Marker Square Church of Harrisburg.
She is survived by one brother, Guy G. Heilman of Sacramento, Calif.; one sister-in-law, Pauline S. Heilman of East Brady; two nieces, Lisa Heilman Cozzilio and her husband, Victor, of Sacramento, Calif., and Charyl Barnhart and her husband, Howard, of Chicora.
Lilian also is survived by two great-nephews, Todd Barnhart of Madison, Wis., and Jason Barnhart of Chicora.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Charles O. Heilman.
HEILMAN — Graveside services for Lilian J. Heilman, who died Thursday April 11, 2013, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Bradys Bend Cemetery with the Rev. Raymond Eichler of the First Presbyterian Church, East Brady, officiating.Lilian's family requests that donations be made in her name to the Care Assurance Fund of Bethany Village, 325 Wesley Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.Arrangements are under the direction of the Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home, 105 4th St., East Brady, PA 16028.
