Dear Ken,

It has been 5 long, long years since I have seen you or heard your voice.

Some say that with time the pain lessens - that has not happeded - the pain and loneliness has only intensified. It has now become reality - that I am not going to turn around and see you standing behind me, and I am not going to hear your words of wisdom.

No one could ever possibly know the pain that goes along with the loss of YOU - you were my “big guy”, my rock, and my shadow.

I know one thing for sure - you would be SO PROUD of our 6 beautiful and precious grandchildren Dylan, Zac, Clay, Haley, Natti and Lindsey. I know for sure that they are missing knowing the BEST Grandpap in the world.
