Charlotte Marie Moore

Charlotte Marie Moore, 80, of Zelienople, formerly of Vienna, W.Va., passed away peacefully Friday while in the comfort of her home.

She was born Jan. 2, 1933, in Fleming, Colo., and was the daughter of the late Edwin Oscar and Mabelle (Knight) Swedlund.

Charlotte was a former member of the 36th Street Church of Christ in Vienna, W.Va.

She was very active in church, teaching Sunday school and being involved in the Ladies Bible class. Above all, she was a loving mother, sister and great-grandmother.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Penelope Dishaw and her husband, Tim, of Virginia Beach, Va., Krista Moon and her husband, Reid, of Zelienople, Gregory Moore of Chambersburg, Pa., and Jonathan Moore of Las Vegas, Nev.; her brother, Harold Swedlund of Topeka, Kan.; her grandchildren, Rebecca Cissel and her husband, Daniel, Suzanne Van Dyke and her husband, Steven, and Jacob Moon and his wife, Samantha; and her great-grandchildren, Natalie and William Cissel, Abigail and Isaac Van Dyke and Levi Moon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold A. Moore, who passed away on Jan. 30, 2009.

MOORE — The family of Charlotte Marie Moore, who passed away Friday, April 12, 2013, will welcome friends from 4 p.m. today until the time of a funeral ceremony at 6:30 p.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with Reid Moon officiating.She will be laid to rest privately at the West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton, W.Va.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with Charlotte's family at www.boylanfuneralhome.com.
