Linda McKinney

Linda L. McKinney, 65, of Saxonburg passed away Sunday in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born Aug. 15, 1947, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Ernest and Eleanor Hartman Walter Sr.

Linda was a member of Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church in Saxonburg. She enjoyed scrap booking, quilting, crocheting, baking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her husband of 36 years, W. John McKinney; son, Todd McKinney of Saxonburg; daughter, Amy (Wes) Snow of Butler; four grandchildren, Joshua Kosecki, Chelsea Snow, Hunter Snow, and Eleanor Snow; sister-in-law, Lavonne (Robert) Rankin of Slate Lick; and friend, Melissa Andring.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Walter Jr.

MCKINNEY — Friends of Linda L. McKinney, who passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, 1522 Carlisle St. Natrona Heights. Funeral ceremonies will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church. Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. David Brewer. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.Contributions in memory of Linda may be made to Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church, P.O.
