Shirley Ann Swartzfeger
Shirley Ann Swartzfeger, 89, of Butler, formerly of Washington, Pa., died Monday in Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born Dec. 8, 1923, in Houston, Texas, and was a daughter of William A. McKinney and Elise C. McFarland McKinney.
Mrs. Swartzfeger graduated from high school in Louisiana and worked as a sales clerk at Sears.
She was a Presbyterian, and she enjoyed reading.
On May 20, 1944, she married Donald E. Swartzfeger, who died April 11, 1994.
Surviving are a son, Donald E. Swartzfeger II and his wife, Connie, of Butler; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a niece, Beverly Swartzfeger, and her daughters, Donnann Swartzfeger and Tracey (Ric) Mar.
Deceased are a daughter, Sharman Sue Swartzfeger, and a son, Harry Swartzfeger.
SWARTZFEGER — Friends of Shirley Ann Swartzfeger, who died Monday, April 1, 2013, will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., which is the time of service, Friday in William G.
