Norma Jean Cumberledge Frederick

Norma Jean Cumberledge Frederick, 91, of Zelienople died March 21 at the Chicora Medical Center.

She was born April 9, 1921, in Beaver Falls and was the daughter of the late Raymon C. and Barbara Hutton Cumberledge.

Norma was a member of the Grace Church of Harmony.

She had owned and operated Gert's Natural Goodies in the Pointe Plaza Shopping Center, Butler, until 1987. She was a very caring and joyful person who loved her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, J. Keith (Sue) Frederick of Marietta, Ga., D. Mark Frederick of Rochester, Pa., and V. Luke (Kathy) Frederick of Renfrew; one daughter-in-law, Kay Cumberledge of Zelienople; one sister, Eva Jane Reeder of Junction City, Kan.; two brothers, Theodore C. Cumberledge of Shutesberry, Mass., and Ralph L. Cumberledge of Beaver Falls; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Frederick on Nov. 14, 1998, two daughters, one son and two grandsons.

FREDERICK — The family of Norma Jean Cumberledge Frederick who died Thursday, March, 21, 2013, will welcome friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Grace Church of Harmony, 538 Main St., Harmony. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Peter Everett officiating.A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 114 W.
