Frank Colosimo III

Frank Colosimo III, 43, formerly of Allentown, passed away Tuesday.

He was born Feb. 16, 1970, in Butler, and was the son of Frank Colosimo Jr. and Judith (Morabito) Colosimo.

He was a graduate of Moniteau High School in West Sunbury and Gannon University in Erie. He was employed by Lockheed Martin as a software engineer staff in King of Prussia.

Frank was a former member of the Golden Oaks Golf Club in Fleetwood, Pa., and was an avid golfer and hunter.

Surviving are his parents, Frank Jr. and Judith Colosimo of Renfrew; two children, Christina Marie and Frankie IV and their mother, Maria Colosimo of Allentown; one sister, Alisha (James) Ellis of Butler; his godson and nephew James Walter Ellis Jr., and nephew Ethan James Ellis; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Also a number of nieces and nephews of Allentown.

Preceding him in death were both his maternal and paternal grandparents, and aunts and uncles.

COLOSIMO — Friends of Frank Colosimo III, who passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. The Rev. Thomas Gillespie will officiate.

Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations be made to St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

St. Paul Catholic women and Christian mothers will meet at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday at the church to recite the rosary.
