Dennis Dale Myers, 61, of Cooper Road, Worth Township, passed away at 4:30 a.m. Friday at his residence.

He was born in Ellwood City on Dec. 31, 1951, to John Glenn Myers and Thelma Bernice Wimer.

He married Rebecca Leora Wagner on July 9, 2001.

He was a 1969 graduate of Slippery Rock High School. He was a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Butler. He was a Presbyterian. He belonged to the NRA, the Butler Moose Lodge, the Portersville-Muddy Creek Volunteer Fire Department and he really enjoyed playing euchre.

He is survived by his wife, Becky L. Myers; one sister, Nancy (Mark) Kozura of Hagerstown, Md.; and two brothers, Paul W. Myers of Slippery Rock and Gary R. (Barb) Myers of Slippery Rock.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

MYERS — Visitation for Dennis Dale Myers, who died Friday, March 29, 2013, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Tom Meling of Zion Baptist Church officiating.

Interment will be in Zion Baptist Cemetery, Worth Township.
