Mary Rosella Alworth Wade, 81, of Eldorado, Pa., passed away peacefully at her home Friday morning after an extended illness.

She was born in Eldorado on Sept. 8, 1931, to the late Thomas and Margaret Karnes Alworth.

Mary Rose was married to James D. Wade on Aug. 19, 1950, and he survives.

She was a dedicated wife and mother who enjoyed camping by the river with her family. She could be found near the campfire. Mary enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a longtime member of the Robinson Chapel United Methodist Church in Parker.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Cheryl Howard of Eldorado, Susan Saidy of Houston, Texas, and Tracey (Kirby) of Boyers; three grandchildren, Jason Howard of Slippery Rock, Eric Stalker of Butler and Heather Stalker of Boyers; one sister, Jane Bullman of Karns City; and one brother, Bob Alworth of Brookville, Pa.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Alworth.

WADE — Friends of Mary Rosella Alworth Wade, who passed away Friday, March 22, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 S. Wayne St., Parker. The funeral service will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
