Pirates activate infielder Inge
PHILADELPHIA — The Pittsburgh Pirates activated veteran infielder Brandon Inge from the 15-day disabled list before Tuesday night’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Inge made his first appearance of the season, starting at third base against the Phillies.
In 18 games with Triple-A Indianapolis this season, Inge batted .150 with a pair of home runs.
