Donald Jack

Donald L. Jack, 79, of Saxonburg passed away Friday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born March 23, 1933, in Natrona Heights, and was the son of the late James and Grace (Elliott) Jack.

He was a 1951 graduate of Freeport High School. He retired from Du-Co Ceramics, where he was a tool and die maker.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sarver. Donald loved genealogy, Freeport High School football and woodworking.

Surviving are his loving children, Claude (Bee) Jack, Sheryl (Reed) Bigham, Donna (Gerard) Marburger, Bryan (Mary Ann) Jack; his grandchildren, Carrie (Steve) Dipasquale, Christopher (Stacy) Bigham, Courtney (Dwane) Hixson, Wade Adams, Emily (fiance, Frank Billanti) Marburger, and Justin Marburger; his great-grandchildren, Ethan Bigham, Landen Hixson and Gabriella Hixson; and his brother, Walter Jack.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Annetta Smith Jack, who passed away in 1995; a daughter, Sandra Henkel, who passed away May 9, 2008; and his sister, Dorothy Jack.

JACK — Friends of Donald L. Jack, who passed away Friday, March 15, 2013, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
