Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528, Brady Township, is accepting registration through May 3 for “Eating Green, Eating Wild!” set for 1 to 4 p.m. May 11. McConnells Mill State Park in Slippery Rock Township, will be the site of a Spring Wildflower Walk from 1 to 3 p.m. April 27 leaving from Hells Hollow. The historic gristmill opens May 18. Admission and parking are free. Call 724-368-8811.A Star Party will start, weather permitting, at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Wagman Observatory in Deer Lakes Regional Park, Frazer Township, near the village of Russellton in northeastern Allegheny County.
