Ex-Steeler Okobi hit with $100 fine
PITTSBURGH — Former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Chukky Okobi has been fined $100 after pleading guilty to harassment in a bar fight last year.
Okobi was originally charged with five counts of simple assault after several people confronted him when he argued with his girlfriend at a South Side bar on Aug. 25.
A district judge dismissed four of those charges, but allowed the fifth to go to trial. That charge was reduced Monday to harassment before Okobi pleaded guilty in front of an Allegheny County judge.
