Robert E. Scott, 74, of Butler passed away Saturday at St. Johns Specialty Care Center in Mars.

He was born Aug. 14, 1938, in Butler, and was the son of the late Charles Scott and the late Carrie (Eppinger) Scott.

Bob retired from Pullman Standard. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Oneida Valley Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a veteran of U.S. Army.

Surviving are his two daughters, Julie L. Milleren of Grove City and Michelle R. Scott of Grove City; his son, Steven Scott of Butler; his four grandchildren, Stephanie Robbins, Robert Milleren, Dustin Scott-Fleeger, and Austin Birckbichler.

He was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.

SCOTT — Friends of Robert E. Scott, who passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013, will be received at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with Mr. Dennis Hindman of the Rider Lutheran Church officiating.
